Deborah Szekely is over 102 this month, and even though she is old, her body is still quite tough.

Secley not only often goes out, but also visits friends and speaks at meetings that she also works for three days every week at the health resort and spa she founded with people in 1940.

Secley told CNBC Make It: "I didn't find anything different when I woke up that morning, so I continued to do the same thing."

Daily activities

Secley walks a mile a day, "I don't have a nap in the afternoon unless I finish the road. This is not a rigid routine, it's just something to do, just like getting up in the morning."

She suggests that it's easier to get to work with friends to achieve daily activities.

Secley's sports habits are not as intense as they were when they were young, but they still have effect. They move naturally through low-strength physical activities such as walking, which is a common habit for long-term people.

Seafood vegetarian diet

Secli has been mainly plant-based diets since she was a child. "I eat vegetarian food because of my parents' relationship, I have never eaten meat."

Her diet is similar to that of Mediterranean diet, mainly based on all grain foods, fruits and vegetables, fish, etc.

The following are three meals Secley usually eats.

Breakfast: good, a banana, whole grain food.

Lunch: I always eat salads at home. If I eat at a restaurant, she likes to try different foods.

Dinner: Since you are often out, Secley will choose fish, salad, roasted potatoes or try something new.

Stay social and constantly learn

Secley's social activities are quite rich. "I have season tickets for every drama of the Old Globe Theatre. I often go to the theater and I like songs."

Every Wednesday, she also speaks at her resort and communicates with guests several times a week.

In addition to social activities, Secley always hopes to learn more; senior citizens over 80 can learn new things every day, and Secley speaks four languages ​​and immerse themselves in different cultures.

"My German is unfamiliar, but my French is very good because I think in French and speak French when I dream. As for Spanish, I say it every day." She believes that "the most important thing is to keep learning."
