US President Trump threatened to impose 100% tax on imports on semiconductor classes. In order to overcome tax hindrance, global technology giants have launched a major shift in supply chains. According to Korean media analysis, this can be said to be a talented machine for Samsung, because the enemy Taiwan Electric promised to stay in Taiwan to maintain its advanced production process, and Samsung's US factory was able to "make it happen" and it is expected to continue to order sweetness.

According to reports on the 12th, Samsung has planned to start a 2-nanometer production capacity in Texas, USA next year. In contrast, the new US factory, Taiwan Power, the world's largest wafer foundry manufacturer, is still under construction, and the 2nm process may not be introduced to the United States as soon as 2028. This has significantly increased the strategic value of Samsung's US factory and naturally has become a benefit target for tax relevance.

Taiwan Electric's first US crystal factory is located in Asia, and has produced a 4-nanometer process in the fourth quarter of 2024; the second factory using 3-nanometer process technology has been completed and is now undergoing equipment inductions to strive for investment in 2027; the third factory will introduce more advanced 2-nanometer process technology and is scheduled to be invested in 2030, but due to the high demand for customers' AI, it is not ruled out that 2-nanometer products will be produced in the United States in advance.

On July 28, Samsung announced that it had obtained a large OEM of electric vehicle giant Tesla, and will produce the latest generation of AI6 self-driving chips in a new factory in Texas. The total amount of the contract is as high as 22.8 trillion KW (about 16.4 billion US dollars). From December 31, 2033, Samsung crystal circle OEM will take over the order of large-scale spraying, attracting attention from the market.

Apple also announced on August 6 that it would launch a new Samsung Texas factory for the next generation of iPhone products, but it did not explicitly state the specific details of the chip. According to analysts, Apple commissioned Samsung to produce ISOCELL image sensor.
