Instussusception of dogs is very harmful, and early detection and early treatment are the key!

Dog instussusception is clinically common in spring and summer exchange and early winter. The division and transportation of puppies are also one of the important factors. Because of seasonal changes, climate change, temperature level, environmental changes and other stresses, it is easy to reduce the resistance of puppies and cause diseases. Intussusception secondary to canine distemper, canine parvovirus, canine coronavirus and other bacterial infections are also clinically uncommon. Although the true cause of intussusception is still unclear, it may be closely related to the above-mentioned viral and bacterial infections, that is, incongruent intestinal peristalsis and contraction caused by pathogen infection or other unknown causes, resulting in the proximal intestinal canal engrafted into the distal intestinal canal and trigger intussusception.

The proportion of intestinal parasite infections in dogs is very high, especially for puppies. When parasites seize host nutrients, they cause physical obstruction and damage to the host intestine, and at the same time excrete metabolic toxins, causing peristalsis of dogs, causing strong peristalsis and reverse peristalsis in a certain section of the intestine, or varying strengths, which can easily cause one section of the intestine to be inserted into another section, forming intestinal insufficiency.

Rational and scientific feeding management is the basis for raising good animals. In addition to planning immunity and reasonable deworming of dogs, reasonable and scientific diet, exercise and hygiene are also very important. For example, overeating, excessive ambient temperature is too high and low, unscientific bathing, and walking dogs in bad weather should be avoided.

This disease often occurs suddenly, mainly abdominal pain, vomiting, bloody stools and lumps in the anus. The closer the instussusception part of the sick dog is to the anterior part, the more serious the vomiting and related symptoms are, and the faster the course of the disease develops. Generally, they suffer from abdominal pain, arching back, refusal to eat and vomiting, dehydration and weight loss.

The dog suffers from sudden vomiting and abdominal swelling, and often discharges a small amount of blood feces. The intussuspension in the front part of the small intestine generally has a small amount of black stool. If the intussuspension occurs in the back part of the small intestine, the stool is generally a small amount of dark red. The dog suffers from uneasy, moaning, and chirping.
