Former Bayern forward Mane said in an exclusive interview with Ferdinand that he left Liverpool because he wanted to try something new.
Mane said: "Liverpool is like a home to me and my comfort zone. But I won almost everything there and I want to try something new. My motivation is to get out of my comfort zone and accept new challenges in another part of the world. This is what I decided to do. The reason why I decided to give it a try. Regarding leaving Bayern to move to Riyadh, Mane said: "I. I don’t think I would have come here without the move to Bayern Munich. My agent called me and said: ‘We have offers from Saudi Arabia and Europe.’ Then I sat down with my agent, my manager and my family to discuss it. When they came out with the invitation, they had a big picture: ‘We’re going to build the biggest, strongest league in the world, we’re going to bring in a lot of players, and we’re going to host a World Cup.’ They wanted me to be a part of it, and I thought, ‘Wow, that sounds very appealing.’”
