Leo Ngumoha signed his first professional contract with Liverpool Football Club.
The striker previously played for Chelsea and joined Liverpool Youth Training Academy in September 2024. So far, he has made five appearances for the Reds' first team, his most recent appearance in Tuesday's League Cup 2-1 win over Southampton.
Last month, Ngumoha scored the winning goal in the 100th minute in his Premier League debut against Newcastle, helping the team win 3-2.
A few weeks later, the England U19 international made his personal European debut. He came on as a substitute in the Champions League held at Anfield Stadium to help the team beat Atletico Madrid.
In the 2024-25 season, Ngumoha represented Liverpool's U18, U19 and U21 teams. In January this year (January 2025), he made his first-team debut in the FA Cup against Ackerlington Stanley.
TA said that the new contract of Engumoha, who just turned 17, lasts until 2028. According to the regulations of the English Football Association, players must sign professional contracts after their 17th birthday, while the maximum contract that a 17-year-old player can sign is three years.
Engumoha has made four appearances this season and contributed one goal. The 17-year-old England striker De has turned 10 million euros.
