The Post reported that Ian Nat, a 65-year-old hardcore British fan, spent about £5,000 to build a six-seat private watch box in his back garden to watch the local non-professional league team Banoldeswick.

British media said that his main motivation for building the box was for safety, because he found that several of his grandchildren often lie on the garden fence to watch the game, and outside the fence was a steep slope of 15 feet high.

This box, nicknamed "Sheel Stand", has steel structures and concrete foundations, and is equipped with reinforced glass to prevent the ball from hitting. Most particularly, the seats in the box are old stands "antique" seats removed from the home court of the Premier League Burnley team.

Considering that the team's single game ticket is only £7 and the season ticket costs only £120, this expensive box is more out of love than economic needs. Nat also said that when watching football in the winter, he would go to the shack next to burn the fire to keep warm during the halftime break.
