The Times recently interviewed former England star Crouch, in which he talked about how to deal with online violence, whether England can win the World Cup, and the England women's football team. He also talked about his partner Abby and other topics.

I think we have a chance to win the World Cup
Foden and Bellingham are real stars; for me, Harry Kane is the absolute main force of the team. But I recently went to the United States (next summer's World Cup will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada) and it was very hot there in October. South American teams will be more accustomed to this hot and humid weather. As England fans, we haven't thought of that before.
I'm really bad at buying gifts
I bought Abby an expensive bag, but the color was completely wrong. She was pregnant at the time and was very emotional. She told me that I didn't understand her. She actually cried. I'm notoriously bad at this.
I suffered discrimination because of my different looks.
This is football - cruel competition and harsh environment. As an impressionable teenager, you just want to fit in with the group. My daughter was so upset after watching "The Peter Crouch Documentary" (a documentary about the ridicule he faced for being 6'7") that she left halfway through. I tried to comfort her and said, "There will be exciting parts later!"
Harry Kane is a better golfer than me.
This made me reluctant. As for who is the better football player, there is no doubt about it. He went to Germany and did amazingly well. His record was unbelievable.

The England women's team are clearly ahead of the men's team because they have won trophies. Their performance was stunning.
We replaced the abuse in the stands with social media
And, social media has no off button. If I had a bad game I probably wouldn't buy the paper or watch Match Today. But with a cell phone, you can always see what people are saying.
When I first entered the industry, my teacher always said to be strong and not let your emotions show.
This is obviously bad advice. Everyone encounters difficulties. Now it seems that speaking out what is in your heart is a better choice. This is seen as bravery rather than weakness.
