Liverpool officially announced that the team will prepare for the new season from July 7, and will face Milan on July 26 during the Asian Tour and Yokohama Mariners on July 30.
Liverpool official wrote: "Before the pre-season Asian Tour begins, the team led by Slot will face the Championship team Preston in a friendly match (July 13). The club plans to play AC Milan in Hong Kong, China on July 26, and J1 League club Yokohama Mariner in Japan on July 30."
"During the pre-season preparation last season, the club had a closed-door friendly match with Preston at the AXA Training Centre. As the defending champion of the Premier League, the team's players will start reporting back to the team that week of July 7 and start preparing for the new season."
