In the first round of the Premier League, Crystal Palace tied Chelsea with a 0-0 score away. After the game, visiting coach Glasner was asked whether he would consider excluding the two from the team's roster when captain Gee and offensive core Eze were caught in transfer rumors.

Glasner told the BBC: "Not at all. There have been many rumors about Eze and Gee in the past week. Everyone has seen their performance against Liverpool, and today they are in a perfect pace with the team."

"As long as they devote themselves, they can do a great job. I've been watching their training all week and talking to them almost every day, which may be more times than I have with my children and my wife. But it's all worth it because I communicate with them very effectively. They not only show how great they are, but also prove that they are very good people, which is exactly what I expect of them."
