2. Dogs suffering from oral diseases
Dogs suffering from oral diseases such as stomatitis, oral ulcers, and gingivitis are also prone to have a putrid smell in their mouths, and may also be accompanied by poor mental appetite, drooling, red, swollen, and ulcerated gums. In this case, you need to take your dog to the pet hospital for examination and treatment in time to prevent the condition from getting worse.
3. Food Residues
If the dog eats some liquid food for a long time, the residue of these liquid foods left in the mouth will breed a large number of bacteria. After the bacteria are putrefied, a rancid smell will occur. Therefore, the owner must clean the dog's mouth regularly. It is generally recommended to brush the dog's teeth once a week.
