I searched thousands of times for the cat, but suddenly I looked back and saw that the cat was near my house.

According to a report by the foreign media Mirror, a cat named Rosie has been missing for five years since 2016. As the years passed, its owner had lost hope of ever recovering it. But no one expected that it would appear mysteriously 260 miles (about 400 kilometers) away from home.

Rosie was found in a house in Wirral, Merseyside. Inspector Anthony Joynes from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) found the cat after finding it in a cat hunt in Southsea, Hants. After an investigation by the association, they concluded that the perpetrator most likely used food to lure Rosie and abduct her.

Since Anthony was unable to successfully contact its owner, she posted a series of messages about her found cat Rosie on her personal Twitter.

Anthony wrote on Twitter that he recently took in a missing cat in South Sea Hans. It was found about 260 miles away on the Wirral and it is hoped the cat's owner will contact him soon.

Fortunately, Anthony quickly contacted Rosie’s owner through social media, and the other party told Anthony that his cat had been missing for five years. This made Anthony very distressed, and he had no idea how Rosie spent these five long years. But judging from Rosie's current health condition, he speculated that Rosie should have encountered many kind-hearted people to help her during this period.

As for how Rosie disappeared? Anthony believes that there are many possibilities, but he does not rule out that Rosie jumped on a "hitchhike" and ran away from home.

As soon as this tweet came out, it immediately aroused widespread response from cat lovers. One netizen expressed concern that he hoped that this beautiful cat could be reunited with its owner as soon as possible. Another netizen believed that someone hid this cute cat star for five years, so Rosie never came home. Others felt that this miracle brought hope of reunion for owners who lost their pets.
